For accounting department, some company needs to look up how much money in scrap NCR. If your company doesn't need look up it, you no need setup this.

Set up account COGS-Scrap in control panel.
First, 2BizBox need set up charts of account for NCR scrap. It locates in control panel, accounting tab, you can see it in following screen.
Click
button, then it will go to below screen.
In the left tree, there is a branch named "COGS-Scrap", click it will give a settings about COGS-Scrap account in the right. You can click
button to select one account.
 | Account type must be start with EG. COGS-Scrap account must be a debit account. |
If set a wrong account for COGS-Scrap, 2BizBox will give a warning like below.
Set up "Use NCR Scrap GL" in Company setting.
Second, we need to set up "Use NCR Scrap GL" option in Company setting. Let's go to Update Company Setting panel screen.
It is a check box. It has no change if uncheck this box, and the NCR is the same as old one. Otherwise, NCR scrape GL will be used.
Scrap NCR and Create GL.
After set up COGS-Scrap account, you can go to NCR detail. There is a
button on the bottom, click it will create a GL. In these screen, there are two important quantities:
- Pulled Qty: it shows pull how many quantities for this part to QA in the NCR.
- Put to Stock Qty: it means put how many quantities back to related order. You can go to Update NCR screen see the order detail.

Click "Scrap" button, it pop up a dialog as below:
You need to input the quantity to scrap, the quantity can't bigger than "Pulled Qty" subtract "Put to Stock Qty" subtract already scrap qty. Click "OK" button. 2BizBox will create a GL for scrap qty. You can click "Related General Ledgers" tab, it lists all NCR scrap GL.

Click GL link in this screen, it will go to GL detail UI.
